Globalization presents both new challenges and significant opportunities for the development of entrepreneurial competencies among Vietnamese students in the contemporary era. This article examines the role of globalization in shaping the entrepreneurship education environment, analyzes the current state of entrepreneurial competencies among Vietnamese students, and identifies key influencing factors, including entrepreneurship education, the academic environment, and the innovation ecosystem. Based on this analysis, the study proposes strategic orientations aimed at enhancing students’ entrepreneurial competencies in the context of increasing global competition. The findings highlight that entrepreneurship education and a robust supportive ecosystem play a decisive role in fostering entrepreneurial intention and strengthening students’ capacity to participate effectively in global business activities.
