This study investigates the effectiveness of applying Piaget’s cognitive development model in combination with information technology to enhance English presentation skills for English Language majors at Electric Power University. The research is conducted with students of cohort D20, using a descriptive approach combined with limited pedagogical experimentation. Data are collected through classroom observation, analysis of students’ presentation products, surveys, and instructors’ feedback. The results indicate that the integration of Piaget’s model and information technology positively influences students’ ability to organize content, improve confidence, and develop presentation skills in an academic context. The findings also highlight the important roles of lecturers in organizing learning activities and providing instructional support, as well as students’ active participation in constructing knowledge. The study suggests that this integrated approach is feasible and effective in teaching English presentation skills in higher education.
