Abstract

Mastering English oral presentation skills is a fundamental requirement for academic success and professional employability. Beyond enhancing international competitiveness, the cultivation of communicative competence is of great significance in promoting multicultural understanding. However, this remains a persistent challenge for non-English major undergraduates, who often struggle with linguistic limitations and psychological hesitation. To address these issues, this research first investigates the specific weaknesses of these students and subsequently proposes targeted pedagogical interventions. By evaluating the effectiveness of these integrated strategies, the study aims to help non-majors overcome communicative barriers and improve their ability to express ideas fluently in cross-cultural contexts.
