Refuting the view that developing the private economy means abandoning the goal of socialism
Abstract
The development of the private economy is an objective necessity aimed at creating breakthroughs in mobilizing and optimizing the country's potential resources, thereby enabling Vietnam to achieve prosperity and stand alongside major global powers in the new era. However, hostile forces have continuously sought to distort and oppose the Party's policies, spreading the misconception that fostering private economic development equates to abandoning the socialist goal. This article identifies and analyzes this false narrative, providing theoretical and practical arguments to refute such erroneous views, thereby reaffirming the consistency between private economic development and the socialist orientation in Vietnam's path of progress.
