Developing competence in designing and using educational games in biology teaching for pre-service biology teachers. 104
Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical foundations and presents a survey conducted among Biology pre- service teachers at Tay Nguyen University to evaluate their awareness and application of educational games in Biology teaching. The findings indicate that students still face limitations in their ability to design and implement learning games effectively. Based on these insights, the article proposes three key measures: developing self-study materials, applying micro-teaching methods, and integrating game-based activities into teaching practicum. These strategies aim to enhance students' competence in designing and using educational games, thereby improving teacher training quality and meeting the demands of general education reform.
