Narrative economics and the role of law in governing expectations in Vietnam's stock market
Abstract
This article examines the theoretical foundation of Narrative Economics, explores the practical operation of Vietnam's stock market, and evaluates the role of law in managing economic expectations. It highlights the importance of an interdisciplinary approach that integrates economics and law, emphasizing how legal frameworks can influence investor psychology and market behavior. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes several policy implications to improve Vietnam's securities law toward enhancing transparency, stability, and the capacity to manage societal expectations more effectively.
