Theoretical issues regarding the role of virtual reality technology in legal education
Abstract
In the context of global digital transformation, Virtual Reality (VR) technology has emerged as a powerful tool for education, particularly in legal education—a fi eld traditionally characterized by abstraction and theory. This paper examines the theoretical foundations, practical applications, and the role of VR in innovating legal teaching methods. It highlights major benefi ts such as enhanced visualization, increased interactivity, improved practical legal skills, and reduced training costs. The paper also identifi es challenges related to cost, technological infrastructure, and human resources, and proposes development directions to optimize the application of VR in legal training and dissemination in Vietnam.
