Current practices and emerging challenges in copyright protection for video games in Vietnam

Abstract

This article analyzes and clarifi es current legal practices for copyright protection of video games in Vietnam, along with common copyright infringement acts involving this type of work. The study identifi es existing limitations and gaps in current intellectual property law. Based on these fi ndings, the authors propose several recommendations to improve the legal framework for video game protection, supporting the stable and sustainable growth of this promising industry.
