Experiential activities in the teaching of Grade 5 History and Geography play an important role in improving the quality of these subjects at the primary level. Survey results show that most teachers (56.1%) are aware of the role and significance of integrating experiential activities into the teaching process of Grade 5 History and Geography. However, the application of these activities in classroom practice remains limited and faces numerous challenges, including inadequate facilities, limited organizational experience, and pressure to complete the curriculum as well as assessment requirements. Nevertheless, teachers highly appreciate the potential of experiential activities, with 78% acknowledging their value in enhancing teaching and learning quality, meeting the requirements for the development of students’ qualities and competencies, and expressing their willingness to apply them when appropriate practical conditions are ensured.
