Some solutions to promote vocational training for rural workers in Vietnam today

Abstract

Vocational training for rural workers plays a vital role in improving human resource quality, restructuring the agricultural and rural labor force, and fostering modern rural development. In recent years, this work has received strong attention from various levels and sectors, achieving notable progress. However, rural workers still account for a large share of the national labor force, many of whom lack vocational skills and stable employment opportunities. Vocational training continues to face multiple challenges, requiring comprehensive and coordinated solutions in the coming period. Enhancing vocational training is a practical direction to increase income, ensure sustainable poverty reduction, and contribute to building new rural areas in Vietnam today.
