This article clarifi es key provisions of the Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (2012), as amended in 2025, related to sanctioning administrative violations occurring in the electronic environment. The analysis highlights both the positive impacts of these regulations such as improved monitoring effi ciency and enhanced legal deterrence and the challenges and risks that arise during implementation, including technical limitations, diffi culties in evidence collection, and the need for specialized human resources. Based on these insights, the article proposes several recommendations aimed at strengthening the eff ectiveness and practicality of administrative sanctions in the electronic environment.
