The relationship between memorable tourism experiences and tourist satisfaction at Cam mountain, An Giang Province
Abstract
Memorable tourism experiences and tourist satisfaction play a crucial role in the development of tourist destinations. However, the relationship between these two constructs has not yet been thoroughly examined in the context of mountain destinations. This study contributes to narrowing this research gap based on data collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability testing of measurement scales, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results based on survey data from 160 tourists indicate that memorable tourism experiences are composed of attachment, hospitality, involvement, natural characteristics, refreshment, novelty, and hedonism. These factors have varying levels of influence, in descending order, on tourist satisfaction in the context of Cam mountain as a destination. This study not only expands the theoretical understanding of the relationship between memorable tourism experiences and tourist satisfaction, but also offers several managerial implications for improving practice.
