Development of wedding tourism products associated with natural resources and indigenous cultural values in Quang Ninh Province
Abstract
In the context of Vietnam’s rapidly growing and highly competitive tourism industry, wedding tourism has emerged as a promising trend thanks to the combination of personalized experiences with local cultural values. This tourism product not only meets the demand for organizing significant life events but also maximizes the advantages of natural and cultural resources to create distinctive and unique experiences, thereby enhancing the position and appeal of destinations. However, the development of this tourism segment poses several challenges in environmental protection and ensuring the rights of local communities. This paper aims to analyze the potential and propose solutions for developing wedding tourism products that are closely linked to natural resources and local culture in Quang Ninh province. Based on a synthesis of relevant research data, the author proposes sustainable development strategies to balance economic benefits with the preservation of environmental and cultural heritage values. The study also emphasizes on encouraging community participation in the tourism service value chain, considering this a strategic approach to diversifying tourism products while effectively promoting the cultural identity and natural landscapes of Quang Ninh province to both domestic and international visitors.
