Contribution of mass mobilization work to the historic victory of the Dien Bien Phu battle in 1954

Abstract

Since its inception, the Communist Party of Vietnam has always paid special attention to the issue of mass mobilization in order to mobilize, organize and guide the masses. The Communist Party of Vietnam’s mass mobilization made a great contribution to the victory of the historic Dien Bien Phu campaign. In this campaign, the Party promptly set forth very correct and creative policies and lines in order to gather and mobilize as many people and energy resources from all regions of the country as possible in all three stages: before, during, and after the campaign to create a huge source of material and spiritual strength to defeat the invading French colonialists. The success of the Party's mass mobilization work in the Dien Bien Phu campaign also left valuable lessons for later revolutionary periods in Vietnamese history.
