The participation of farmers in the new rural construction program in Quang Ninh Province

Abstract

Farmers are a crucial entity in the process of national development. The historical evolution of the Vietnamese nation demonstrates that these individuals have consistently engaged in and contributed to the safeguarding of their homeland and the nation while playing a vital role in economic development and the modernization of local communities. Based on secondary data sourced from the Farmers' Association and several districts in Quang Ninh province, this article analyzes the role of farmers in community development and their involvement in new rural construction. Furthermore, it evaluates the achievements and shortcomings of these efforts as well as proposes solutions to enhance farmers' contributions to community development and achieve the goals of the new rural development program in Quang Ninh province in the current context.
