Some thoughts on religion and belief in Viet Nam today

Abstract

Religion, or belief, is a social phenomenon, as well as a social entity that has a process of formation and existence along with social history. Currently, the issue of religion and belief, especially new religious phenomena, has complicated developments, affecting almost all areas of social life. In order to have a correct view of religion, beliefs and new religious phenomena, the article returns to the basic concept, which distinguishes similarities and differences, then offers a system of basic solutions to overcome negative manifestations, promote positive manifestations of religion and realize the goal of national development on the basis of an advanced culture imbued with national identity of the Communist Party and State of Vietnam construction and development.
