The current situation and Solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of democratic implementation at the commune level in Quang Ninh Province
Abstract
Grassroots democracy serves as a crucial foundation for strengthening the relationship between the Party, government and the people, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development. Utilizing various methods such as document collection, synthesis and analysis; surveys and interviews; expert consultations and feedback from experienced individuals; and statistical and data processing techniques, this study focuses on evaluating the state of democratic implementation at the commune, ward and township levels in Quang Ninh Province during the 2016 – 2023 period. The findings reveal positive advancements in the practice of grassroots democracy but also highlight certain limitations and shortcomings. Based on these findings, the study proposes 10 groups of tasks and specific solutions to improve the effectiveness of democratic implementation at the commune level within the province.
