Vietnamese heritage and cultural values in the context of globalization

Abstract

Cultural values and heritage have emerged as significant resources and motivators for development plans and strategies in Vietnam’s current state of development. The country’s position is strengthened and its influence is expanded as a result of the transformation of cultural strength and resources into “Soft Power”. A nation’s cultural heritage, with its distinct values, traits, etc., is thought to be crucial in defining its identity and place in the globalized world. The article concentrates on examining Vietnam's proactive and positive approach to integrating with global culture in order to propagate cultural values, while acknowledging the opportunities and challenges in the process of international integration. Due to the nation's distinct qualities, fresh creative energies from around the world have only recently been carefully absorbed to advance global integration, foster the growth of the cultural and creative industries, and construct a globalized and knowledge-based cultural economy with an eye toward green and sustainable development.
