Improving the quality of event organization skill training for students majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management of Ha Long University

Abstract

Event organization is an attractive profession and a career opportunity for students of Tourism and Travel Services Management major. It is critical to improve event organization skills for students to meet future job requirements. Based on a survey conducted by questionnaire on 100 students and alumni who are studying in the fourth year of Tourism and Travel Services Management major in Ha Long University, 06 lecturers who are in charge of teaching courses related to training event organization skills in Faculty of Tourism and 05 management level employees in tourism enterprises and event organization companies in the province, the study provides assessments of the current situation and proposes solutions to improve the quality of event organization training for students who major in Tourism and Travel Services Management of Ha Long University.
