Abstract

The success of the August Revolution in 1945 marked a historic turning point for Vietnam. Eighty years have passed, yet the values of that great victory continue to serve as a guiding light for the nation's journey into the future. The concrete lessons drawn from the August Revolution of 1945 remain profoundly relevant to Vietnam’s current efforts in national construction, defense, and development - among them, the lesson of international solidarity. This article presents the outcomes achieved by applying the lesson of international solidarity, distilled from the practical experience of the August Revolution, which has contributed to Vietnam's significant successes in safeguarding national sovereignty and security, advancing national development, and enhancing the country’s global influence.
