Abstract

The engine dynamometer is used to measure the engine’s rotating velocity, torque, and power. The equipment includes chassis, loading creator, electric measure/control system, and computer graphic interface. This paper presents the work of the project “Design and build a dynamometer for small power internal combustion/ electric engine used in teaching and researching”. A small power, lightweight, compact size dynamometer has been built, used for the four strokes gasoline GX35 and the one-phase electric ST-S4 motor.
