Abstract

The article analyzes the potentials, advantages and disadvantages of developing River economy in the Mekong Delta. From the research results, the authors have proposed 4 solutions to sustainably develop the river economy in the Cuu Long Delta, including attracting domestic and foreign investment to develop river economy; close coordinating between agencies in the formulation of river economic development masterplanning; diversifing and specializing river tourism products and services; protecting the environment and river landscape.
