Abstract
This article focuses on teachers’ feedback for freshman students during English lessons. Teachers’ objective and constructive comments play an essential role in helping students study effectively. During the speaking lessons, teachers should vary the types of feedbacks and assist students to identify their specific mistakes, encouraging them to overcome their fears and having more confidence in improving their speaking competence. Therefore, teachers’ comments not only motive the students to get involved in the lesson actively but also help teachers themselves to be efficient ones.
