Development of digital economy - Driving force for national economic development

Abstract

The digital economy is no longer a new concept in the world, but
it is quite new to Vietnam when it has only appeared in our country in recent years.
However, the government, businesses, experts and economists have been interested in
researching and finding solutions to promote the development of the digital economy
- which is considered a driving force for economic development. The article presents
some contents on digital economy development, which are: digital economy concept;
benefits brought by the digital economy to the government, businesses and people;
the inevitable trend of transformation from the traditional economy to the digital
economy; learn about the current development of the digital economy in Vietnam
and some solutions to further develop the digital economy.
