Solutions for development of sharing economy

Abstract

The era of “digital technology” leads to the application of technology
in life, economic and social activities as an inevitable trend. Many new economic
models have emerged based on digital platforms, such as: green economy and
sustainable development, circular economy, digital economy. One of the most popular
models today is the sharing economy. The sharing economy thrives by redistributing
underutilized resources to more productive uses. The sharing economy model soon
thrived in Vietnam and will have a rapid breakthrough the future when the percentage
of people using the Internet and smartphones is increasing. Vietnam’s economy has
great potential to expand the model of sharing economy. However, in the process of
developing this model, there are also many difficulties and barriers that need to be
revealed; orientations and solutions for quickly and stably developing the sharing
economy have to be proposed.
