Economic- financial solutions to promote economic development potential and improve the life of ethnic minorities

Abstract

In recent years, the Communist Party, The National Assembly and
the Government have issued many national target guidelines, policies and programs
on social policy incentives and credit for those facing difficulties in their business
and life. Among these policies, the policy credit programs for ethnic minorities are
extremely important and practical. These programs are effective, contributing to
socio-economic development, ensuring political security in ethnic minority and in
mountainous, remote and isolated areas.
In 2020, Resolution No. 120/2020/QH14 (June 19, 2020) “Approving the
investment policy of the National Target Program for socio-economic development
in ethnic minority areas and mountainous regions period 2021-2030” and Decision
No. 1409/QĐ-TTg “Promulgating the plan to implement Resolution No. 120/
QH14”(September 15, 2020) are important undertakings and policies to consolidate
and promote policy credit and exploit many potentials of economic development in
ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
