Basic competence requirements for university-level human resources in engineering - technological sector in the context of revolution 4.0

Abstract
We are living in an ever-changing society. Our country has been
transforming from a backward agricultural country to a modern industrialized country
and gradually integrating into the new global trend. Therefore, the basic competency
requirements for personnel in the new period are extremely important for successful
international integration and active and fair participation in the “global 4.0 game”.
Therefore, this article presents some concepts of capacity, human resources and
industrial revolutions, the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 in Vietnam, and some
proposals for basic competency requirements for university-level human resources by
engineering and technology majors in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
