Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution has been booming, changing the face of the whole world. Vietnam is also facing many challenges, notably VUCA in which we should pay special attention to 4 challenges which are (1) Volatility (2) Uncertainty (3) Complexity (4) and Ambiguous. The global higher education system, as well as the economic community, innovation ecosystem, governments and other institutions, are experiencing rapid and unpredictable changes, with many confounding opinions and dreams. This makes them unable to develop their own strategies to adapt to the general development trend of the world. That said, education internationalization (HEI) is a necessity to gather forces to help each other overcome obstacles caused by world instability (VUCA). Thanks to internationalization, the global education system will exploit many benefits from the 4.0 revolution. Students studying abroad will gain international technical experience, develop both personal and professional competencies as well as improve language skills etc. In addition, educational institutions such as Universities will benefit from internationalization both financially and in terms of teaching, etc. Hanoi University of Business and Technology (HUBT) is very interested in international cooperation. Since its establishment (1996), HUBT has established cooperation and exchange relationships with more than 30 universities in 15 countries and regions. Thanks to the internationalization of higher education, HUBT has improved its competitiveness and reputation in the fields of admissions and scientific research, making it becoming one of the most prestigious schools in Vietnam
