ESSESSING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROGRAM SOLID WASTE CLASSIFICATION AT SOURCE IN BEN NGHE WARD, DISTRICT 1, HCM CITY

Abstract

Although unsuccessful in the pilot programs classification of solid waste at source in the past, Ho Chi Minh City has been implementing several pilot programs because of the benefits of socio-economic and environmental undeniable its in integrated management of solid waste. Based on the analysis of one pilot program classification of domestic waste at a specific source, the article has developed criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of cognitive education, environmental management and technical support system. Besides, the article identified the advantages and disadvantages of the program is implemented and replicated in future.
