VOLTAGE STABILITY ASSESSMENT IN POWER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM USING SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS METHOD

Abstract
In the paper, the V-Q sensitivity analysis based on Newton-Raphson method is applied for the voltage stability analysis. The proposed method gives the voltage stability-related information in the whole system and clearly identifies the areas that have the potential problems. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by Matlab-based simulation results for IEEE-26 node network.
