Abstract

This will accurately determine the amount of greenhouse gas emissions generated from the company's production and business activities. Propose several solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at EuroPlast joint stock company, contributing to environmental protection and promoting sustainable development for the enterprise. Scope 1: Direct emissions from sources owned or controlled by the company. Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the consumption of grid electricity. The greenhouse gas inventory results for EuroPlast joint stock company show that the total greenhouse gas emissions in 2023 amounted to 11,618.888 tons of CO2eq. Of this, direct emissions (Scope 1) accounted for 8.832 %, with total emissions of 1,026.162 tons of CO2eq, including sources such as LPG combustion for production, LPG combustion for cooking, and diesel combustion for running generators. Notably, emissions from domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater contributed 0.241 % to the total emissions, with 1.229 tons of CO2eq from domestic wastewater and 25.741 tons of CO2eq from industrial wastewater. Indirect emissions (Scope 2) from grid electricity usage accounted for the largest share, reaching 91.168 %, with total emissions of 10,592.718 tons of CO2eq. This result provides important information to help EuroPlast assess its environmental impact and implement effective measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
