21. Current status of teaching management of national defense and security education at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment
Abstract
This study investigates the current management status of National Defense and Security Education teaching activities at Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, in the context of higher education reform and the growing importance of National Defense and Security Education in fostering comprehensive student development. The research focuses on key management aspects, including instructional objectives, curriculum, teaching plans, lecturer and student activities, and supporting facilities. The methodology involves surveys and interviews with 170 relevant stakeholders; quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS software. Findings reveal several shortcomings in supervision, self-study guidance, and instructional equipment. The article proposes specific solutions to enhance the effectiveness of managing National Defense and Security Education teaching activities at the university.
