10. Evaluation of results of implementation of the Land Use Plan for urban management and infrastructure development in Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province

Abstract

The study aims to assess the results and propose solutions to improve the efficiency of the Land Use Plan in the Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province (now Khanh Hoa province). The methods used were secondary investigation, primary investigation, and data synthesis and processing. Research results show that differences in the results of land use planning implementation between years. In 2023, the results of implementing land use targets exceeded the plan. In 2024, the results of implementing land use targets were significantly lower than the set plan. Those differences come from many causes. It is necessary to implement certain solutions to enhance the effectiveness of land use planning and plans, particularly in the current context of implementing a two-level local government. The research findings additionally offer a crucial scientific foundation to support urban management and infrastructure development in the local area
