Abstract

In the context of the digital transformation of land management in Vietnam, the large volume of paper documents, especially land use right certificates and certificates of ownership of assets attached to land, remains a major challenge in building a land database. This study proposes a solution integrating optical character recognition technology and computer mouse control programming to automate the data entry process and build scanned certificate records. The experimental study, conducted in Phu Cat commune, Gia Lai province, applied the Tesseract tool and Python programming language to recognize and convert data from scanned certificates into written form for database entry. Simultaneously, code was written to simulate user operations on the VNPT iLIS software for data entry, automating repetitive tasks. The application successfully performed mass renaming and data entry for 9,978 certificates into the land database of Phu Cat commune.
