6. Evaluating the effectiveness of several concentrated commercial agricultural production models in Binh Khe ward, Quang Ninh province

Abstract

The use of agricultural land plays an important role in generating agricultural products and commercial agricultural goods. In recent years, Binh Khe ward has developed various agricultural land-use models that produce high-value commercial products. This study aims to assess the effectiveness and level of commercialization of concentrated agricultural land-use models. Survey results show that the ward has 5 land-use types (LUTs) with 19 land-use patterns. The study selected and evaluated the land-use efficiency of three models: lychee cultivation, custard-apple cultivation, and ornamental flowers and plants. The findings indicate that concentrated, market-oriented agricultural production models significantly contribute to agricultural development by enhancing production value and added value.
