07. Application of the mathematical optimization model to determine the reasonable agricultural land use structure in Dong Trieu town, Quang Ninh province

Abstract

Dong Trieu town is the midland region of Quang Ninh province, with the natural area of 39.721,55 hectares. Agricultural land of the town is 31.098,8 hectares, accounting for 78,29% of the total natural area. The town's economy is mainly agricultural development. Although the crop structure is diverse, it has not brought the highest economic efficiency to households. Based on the results of household survey, the actual situation of agricultural production in the town and resources for agricultural production, through the application of mathematical optimization model, this study proposed production models that bring the highest economic efficiency in line with the capacity of households in Dong Trieu town.
