10. Application of QGIS and land value software to valuate urban land in Dich Vong ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi city

Abstract
Land price and land valuation have always been a matter of concern at all times because they clearly reflect the development of a country. According to the 2013 Land law promulgated by the Vietnamese Government, the local land price list is issued every 5 years. However, using traditional methods without application of information technology for building the land price list leads to limitations in land use and managemnent in Vietnam. Based on the application of QGIS and Land Value software, the price of the residential land in Dich Vong ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi capital was valuated in order to improve the efficiency of specific local land valuation, contributing to the transparency of real estate market there.
