Abstract
The reality of strength training in the front crawl stroke for male students specializing in swimming (D6 Swimming) at Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports (HUPES) still has some shortcomings, such as: the number of exercises is limited and lacks diversity; the arrangement of exercises is not suitable; training exercises are not applied consistently; and the hand strength in the front crawl stroke of male students specializing in D6 Swimming is currently at an average level and does not meet the practical requirements for learning and improving performance. The research results have identified 03 evaluation tests, established standards, and a comprehensive scoring table to assess arm strength in the front crawl stroke for the target group.
