Abstract

Objectives: Describe attitudes and behaviors in clinical practice activities at the hospital of 3rd and 4th year nursing students at Phenikaa University in 2021 and identify some related factors. Methods: A cross-sectional description of the selection of all 11th and 12th students of the nursing faculty of Phenikaa University from December 2021 to May 2022. Results: The percentage of students with successful attitudes and behaviors in clinical practice accounted for 82.5%, 60.2%, respectively. The ranking factor of learning ability, interest in nursing has a statistically significant relationship with the student’s attitude and behavior in clinical practice (p < 0.05). Which year the student is studying has a statistically significant relationship with the student’s behavioral factor in clinical practice (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The overall percentage of students with attitudes and behaviors in clinical practice activities of students of class 11, 12 at Phenikaa University is quite high. However, there are still students whose attitudes and behaviors are not satisfactory in clinical practice activities, such as being late, using cell phones during class time.
