Nutritional situation in cancer persons treatment at The online center of Nam Dinh general Hospital

Abstract

Objective: To describe the nutritional status of cancer patients treated at the Oncology Center of Nam Dinh General Hospital. Subjects and research methods: Sampling, all cancer patients inpatient treatment at the Cancer Center of Nam Dinh province from early February to the end of March, 2022. Collect study subjects according to criteria selection standard. The study sample size was 255 patients.Indicators for assessing nutritional status according to BMI and PG-SGA. Results: Assessing nutritional status according to BMI, 53.7% of patients were malnourished, according to PG-SGA malnourished or at risk of malnutrition accounted for 76.5%. Conclusion: The rate of malnourished cancer patients is relatively high.
