Regarding the effects of pesticides on big-eyed bugs Geocoris ochropterus, the research results showed that chemical pesticides greatly influence the viability and reproduction of big-eyed bugs. Indoxacarb is the result of its selective lethality to a lot of big-eyed bugs Geocoris ochropterus (92.7%) and high toxicity with big-eyed bugs at level 3 toxicity, similar to the chlorantraniliprole + thiamethoxam active substance, also causes the death of a large number of Geocoris ochropterus (96.4%) and high toxicity (level 3 toxicity). Azadirachtin emamectin benzoate affected the survival and reproduction ability of Geocoris ochropterus at 56.4% and 64.3%, respectively, and both drugs were less toxic to Geocoris ochropterus (level 2 toxicity). Trifloxystrobin + tebuconazol and azoxystrobin also affected the survival and reproduction ability of Geocoris ochropterus at 44.2% and 47.5%, and both drugs were at level 1 toxicity. Research shows that chemical pesticides significantly impact the survival and reproduction of big-eyed bugs. It is necessary to prioritize using biological pesticides in a sustainable development orientation to maintain and develop natural enemies in the ecosystem.
