Factors influencing the satisfaction of investors in Ben Tre Province

Abstract

Up to 2019, the total number of investment enterprises, operating in the province is 3,343 enterprises, registering a total capital of over VND 29,000 billion. With the increasing competition to attract investment among cities and provinces, research on investor satisfaction and its determinants are significant to improve the local investment environment. Based on the survey of 270 companies, the data analysis results indicate that there are four factors influencing investor satisfaction: (1) Infrastructure; (2) Habitat; (3) Local image; (4) Investment policy. The findings contribute to the theories of investor satisfaction applying to the contexts of Cuu Long Delta provinces. Through the research results, the author suggests policy implications to help leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committees pay attention to implementing policies - solutions to improve satisfaction to attract investors in Ben Tre Province.
