Four new binaphthyl derivatives 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d have been synthesizedsuccessfully via Suzuki reaction of 2,2'-dibromo-1,1'-binaphthalene (1) andphenylboronic acid derivatives in high yield. Structures of all samples weredetermined by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HMBC, HSQC, and MS spectra that referred toa strong agreement between spectral data and structures
