Abstract
In this paper, we use the statistical moment method in order to study the melting of binary substitutional alloy AuCu with the face-centered cubic (fcc) structure under pressure up to 100 GPa. The melting theory for binary substitutional alloys builded in this paper is the development of the melting theory for metals and started from the absolute stability limit condition for crystalline state. Our obtained melting curves of metals Au, Cu and alloy AuCu are in good agreement with the experimental data as well as the calculated results of other authors using the ab initio and the molecular dynamics simulation. This is allowed us certainly to foresee the melting features of alloy AuCu in uninvestigated physical conditions.
