The nature indicators in Nguyen Ngoc Tu’s literature (through a collection of stories Cánh dồng bất tận and Khói trời lộng lẫy)

Abstract

Climate change and its impacts on culture, society, and history in the Southern region is a topic with many topical and humanistic meanings in Southern literature, especially in the early years of the 21st century. One of the prominent Southern writers who soon showed their consciousness in the green revolution was Nguyen Ngoc Tu. Through collections of short stories such as Cánh đồng bất tận, Khói trời lộng lẫy, Nguyen Ngoc Tu has provided indicators of nature with concerns, confrontations, and challenges. We study those indicators to sketch a multi-dimensional picture in the art world of Nguyen Ngoc Tu, and at the same time pose urgent problems that exist in the Southern river region. From an ecological point of view, we want to point out the "forecast" and "warning" role of modern literature on the dangers and current state of the environment, and at the same time require the active participation of the modern literature. scholars and writers to solve problems of contemporary life.
