Studies on hydro-biology in estuaries at West-Sea zone of Ca Mau peninsular for aquaculture development

Abstract

     The West-sea area of Ca Mau peninsular, now, has been known as the ecological diversity region in the Mekong delta. However, in recent years, there have large exploited the forest and hydro-production potential as well as large built the infrastructure for agricultural development to strongly impact to the hydro-biological environment. Then, the intergrated studies on hydro-biology in this region to be used as the basic data for economic and hydro-production development is very necessary. The author has used the measured data in April and September 2005 to evaluate the quantity and quality of hydro-biology in this region and propose some his opinions for making plans for effectively using of the potential of this region
