Issues on landscape organization in hydro-power works architecture in the World and in Vietnam
Abstract
Hydropower works, that are always part of a natural landscape with elements including water, mountain, tree, or majestic natural wonders, vast terrain area, etc., have now become attractive eco-tourism destinations in the world. These works not only focus on functional space organization requirements, structural systems, materials or architectural forms of functional items but also express on landscape organization around the dam in order to exploit natural potentials for recreation and tourism activities. Accompanying the development process of the world, Vietnamese hydropower construction industry has initially paid much attention to issues of landscape organization around the dam, to contribute to exploitation and promotion of these natural resources.
