Undrained shear strength correlation of soft soil on the depth and degree of density

Abstract

     In fact, undrained shear strength S_u depends significantly on the density of soil, the depth and the stress state. Establishing a correlation between S_u and the density of soil is a facility of S_u forecast changes over time under the effect of external load. The research results allow to establish undrained shear strength correlation of saturated soft clay of the area on the stress state and density.
