Research on hydro-economic model applied for Ba river basin using GAMS language

Abstract

    Ba river basin is one of the largest river basins in Vietnam, is currently facing with many problems in water resources management. A hydro-economic model was developed in GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System)language focus on economic objective. The initial results showed the applicability of the model to find the optimum solution of the water allocation problems. The model should be more researched and developed in the future.
