Saline intrusion into the aquifers in quaternary sediments coastal plain Ha Tinh province

Abstract

    The paper presents research results salinization coastal plain area Ha Tinh, here, demand for water is increasing, cause negative impacts affecting volume and quality the groundwater, especially ability the sea salt intrusion of into aquifer in Quaternary sediments. Results monitoring during the year 2014 - 2015 show that groundwater strongly influenced by tidal regime and the salt water intrusion from the sea; salinization growing, boundary salty - pale is advancing toward inland; groundwater levels increasingly tend to lower than in the dry season in both aquifers.
